The pressed pieces are then subjected to high temperatures to enhance the bonding of the particles together thus making a solidified magnet.

Machining and Finishing

Once sintering is complete, the Ferrite magnets are subjected to machining for a perfect finish and dimensions for their applications. Machining may include grinding, cutting, and drilling of holes or slots solely meant for mounting purposes.

Magnetization

Along with sintering, one of the final stages of the manufacturing process is magnetization. The ferrite magnets are placed in the equipment that generates a strong magnetic field which gets the ferrite material to start producing its own magnetic field in a different manner.
